My Photos | cafey615 Columbus, OH I am 29 and in need of a major health overhaul. I've spent the first two years of marriage gaining back the 20 pounds I lost before we started dating in April of 2000, plus and extra 10 pounds on top of that. I'm at an all-time-high of 150 pounds, and it really shows on my 5'3" frame. I haven't felt this poorly about myself in years. My goal is to get down to 130 pounds, my fighting weight, I am 29 and in need of a major health overhaul. I'm at an all-time-high of 150 pounds, and it really shows on my 5'3" frame. I haven't felt this poorly about myself in years. My goal is to get down to 130 pounds, my fighting weight, before getting pregnant and bringing children into the picture. I need to know what I am capable of achieving NOW, so I have no excuses later. Losing the 30 pounds would be awesome, but if I can whip myself into better shape and lose the inches, I could care less what the scale has to tell me! 09-06-04: I saw practically NO weight loss during my Slim in 6 routine, but I blame myself for not doing a better job with my diet. Food isn't about comfort for me, it's about satisfying cravings. If I'm craving something, I don't even need to be hungry. It's all about taste. If I know I have something tasty in the cupboard, I think I need to eat it RIGHT NOW. My goal is to drink a tall glass of cold water every time one of those thoughts hits me. We'll see how it goes. 4-13-5: I started on Weight Watchers last week so I could do a better job of eating right. I'm currently 148 lbs. I was up to 156 over the winter months and my size 12's even got tight. I have not succeeded with getting pregnant, so I am renewing my effort to lose the weight. I am going to get it done this time! 5-5-5: I've lost 8.6 pounds with Weight Watchers and I'm dropping sizes. I feel great, and I don't feel food deprived. Many of my cravings are gone, but I get frustrated with myself for NOT wanting a cookie when they are available. Crazy, isn't it!?! I'm on my way... no time to stop here. I do plan on introducing the Power Half Hours this week! 6-21-5: Well, I never got into the Power Half Hours, but I started Slim in 6 on 5-16-5 and I'm on my last week. My back and arms are really getting toned... and my legs. I've been getting lots of compliments on my progress and I feel great. I'm in a great routine that will last the summer! 1-23-6: I'm 31 now, and feeling the best that I have in 5 years. I'm down to a managable weight of 130lbs. I have muscle tone like I've never had before. Right now I'm doing Great Body Guaranteed. I thought 10 mintue workouts would be cheating, but Debbie and Tony work it, and I feel it working! Knowing how good the workout will feel gets me out of my warm, cozy bed every morning. That cozy feeling only lasts while I'm laying there, whereas the awesome energy I feel during a workout stays with me all day long. Remembering that makes getting up easy. This is my year! Great things are going to happen for me! My Progress My fitness goal: Transformation story

7-10-2004: I started the program Slim in 6 on June 15th with the Fast Start. The first 2 and a half weeks were great, I felt excited about getting up and working out each morning. Then I was having trouble waking up. I was losing time in the morning, and committing to an hour program was getting to be more of a challenge. I found myself fastforwarding to keep me from being late for work. Then fastforwarding got to be more my routine, needed or not. I have seen improvement; I am losing inches slowly. I think my rear end is actually lifting! I can feel my abs tightening, but I still need to lose the flabby layer on top of them. I was beginning to feel discouraged, but this morning I reminded myself. It's only been 25 days! Losing ONE pound a week is the better way to lose it for good. I need to be patient. Results come with dedication. I'm doing this for my health and for my future. It is important, so I'm not going to bow out now. I think the best thing I can do for myself at this point is add walking back into my routine and focus on BALANCING my diet. 09-06-04: Walking my dog every morning has really been a boost for me. I know walking is important if I want to lose weight. I MUST DO BETTER with my diet. School has started up again, so I am on a better eating schedule. I switched to the Power Half Hour workout so I could do a workout every morning before school... I know I won't have the time or energy after school. The 30 minute workout is perfect for the time available to me. I'll be getting up at 5:00 AM to make it happen, but that is doable for me. 6-21-5: This past school year was very busy and exhausting, I never really made time for myself until after the shows were over, but then I dug in. I started WW in April and started to get my diet in order. I went from 149 to 139 in a month... finally a weight loss!! And I was ready to work out again. I went back to Debbie's Slim in 6. In the last five weeks, I haven't lost more than 2 more pounds, but I have lost additional inches in all the important areas. I'm starting to introduce more walking and outside activity. I hope that helps with continued weight loss. I don't know what my plan is yet when Si6 is done this week, but I will be turning the Beachbody to see me through the summer. 9-13-5: Tonight I reached lifetime status as a Weight Watcher. 5 months of conscientious eating and Beachbody exercising FINALLY paid off for me. AND I'M NOT DONE YET! I'm down to 135 lbs, but I'd really like to be between 125 and 130. I started Power 90 this week. I could sure feel new muscles aching last night... isn't that an awesome ache?! I'm hoping Tony will help me firm up my arms and thighs and FLATTEN my belly once and for all. Let's do it! 10-29-05: It's about day 30 for me on P90, and I'm doing great. I had to take a week off here and there due to surgery and a sinus infection, but I'm going strong again. Moving up to level 3-4 was not as difficult for me as going up a level in Si6... maybe because now I'm so STRONG! Tony has been helping be drop the last 5 pounds to reach my personal goal of 130lbs. This morning I weighed in at WW at 130.8lbs. I'm so close, and I'm so excited. My abs are the strongest they've ever been and my thighs have definition like they never have before. I feel great when I'm sweating through the workouts... that's what gets me out of bed in the morning. I'm definitely going to keep this up. 1-23-6: Great Body Guaranteed will work you! 45 second routines are short enough that I can sustain it without a problem, and long enough that I totally feel it working. GBG is my favorite routine yet!!! I usually do more than one routine, but it's good to know that one would be enough. | Please sign in to flag this as inappropriate.
