about my weight and how I looked. I had those types of family members
who'd always give me their 2 cents on wether I looked like I've gained or lost
weight.

In 2006 my family (husband and son) moved to Sunny Arizona from Maryland. I was at 150 lbs and very unhappy with the way I looked and felt about myself. I knew what I had to do, but had no motivation More ...
In 2006 my family (husband and son) moved to Sunny Arizona from Maryland. I was at 150 lbs and very unhappy with the way I looked and felt about myself. I knew what I had to do, but had no motivation and no self-control in regards to eating bad foods.

Pretty much all my life my weight fluctuated. I would gain 15lbs here then lose 5lbs then gain 10 more then on and on and on. During my high school days i was always so busy with extra school activities to think about food, but as soon as I got married (18 years of age) is when I started gaining the weight. I would crush whole Tostinos pizzas by myself and literally eat half packages of bacon with white rice all myself.

I managed to lose weight right before getting pregnant with my first child (that was in 2004), but then after my first pregnancy I was back at 148-150lbs.

When i got pregnant with my daughter (which was 2007) I was at 155lbs. I hadn't lost all my post pregnancy weight from my son and was worried at the outcome after the baby was born. Of course during the pregnancy I ate as healthy as I could because i was thinking of my unborn child, while trying to make sure i only gained the recommended 25lbs.

After my daughter was born, I managed to loss the weight I had gained from the last pregnancy and ended back at 150 lbs.

It wasn't until my 28th birthday, April 11th 2009 that i told myself I was gonna lose 15-20lbs, back to my pre-marriage weight. I felt motivated and almost desperate. So what I did was take out my dusty TurboJam DVDs that I had purchased in 2006 and started pushing play every day. I also incorporated the G.I. Diet to help me lose the weight.

Now, since my birthday I have lost 20lbs! I have more definition in my abs, legs and arms. And most of all feeling great about myself. I can actually say I love being in my green and white polka dot bikini!!! First time in a bikini in years!!!
