Transformation story

I have already lost 2 lbs and one inch off my hips after only 8 days! I am back into a skirt I have not worn for awhile (partly due to a previous weight loss, too!) I have gotten into such a routine More ...
I have already lost 2 lbs and one inch off my hips after only 8 days! I am back into a skirt I have not worn for awhile (partly due to a previous weight loss, too!) I have gotten into such a routine that my dog nags me to workout if I do not do it at my usual time. LOL. He also understands the word pilates..He will lay on his side and raise his leg(s) up like a side leg lift type of thing. On day 64 , I am down just 4 lbs, but have lost a total of 6.5 inches and feel wonderful!
Day 81: I have only lost 4 lbs, but a total of 7.5 inches now. My BMI is now at 26.5 and have lowered my Body Fat % to 26%. Feeling great!
I suppose I should say why I decided to join Million Dollar Body and WOWY. Over the last few years, I have gone up and down in weight and fitness. I always fell away from routines due to lack of support. I am not a go to the gym sort of person, so that was not an option for me. In May 2007, Perry Tinsley started a fitness group at work. We had the option of joining MDB for the support. It was exactly what I needed. I knew I needed to do something and this is what I was looking for. With a history of heart disease in my family (Dad has had a heart attack and bypass surgery...doing great now at 76 though!), I knew I needed to get back into shape again.
I did start watching my diet more in Jan 07. MDB's diet plans have helped, too. So, between what I was doing and what I am doing through WOWY, I have lost 25 lbs since Jan (6 since May when I joined) but a total of 7.5 inches in just 90 days. I still have a ways to go, but like how I feel now.
It is now day 167, and I am staying steady...building muscle and strength. I have not lost weight, but it definitely has readjusted itself! My clothes fit so much better, and I have had to buy some smaller ones again.
Day 276: Still maintaining with lots more energy than I had a year ago. Turbo Jam has really worked for me. I like the variety of workouts it has. Variety keeps it interesting.
