A little about me. I'm a social media enthusiast with a background of 15 years in sales and marketing. Recently I crossed over the age of 50 but I feel like I'm 30! I'm very enthusiastic and love meeting new people and encouraging them to find new ways daily to get in shape.

My most important job is that of wife and mother. My daughters are older and don't live at home but taking care of the house and my hubby still take a lot of time. I find that if I'm not careful, I end up not taking care of me.

A year ago I started a group on Twitter made up of 60 or so women who all were in the same boat as I was -- having a goal to lose 20 pounds. I had no structure, no workout planned but I found that I thoroughly enjoyed encouraging my group of ladies daily. We had daily chats online and wrote to each other on Twitter and email. I was even interviewed on a radio show during this time. I got so much feedback from the women telling me how I inspired them with my funny and motivational You Tube videos. A number of them ended up running marathons and losing weight and meeting their goals.

Sadly, I found myself a year later in the same shape. As usual, I let business take over my life and the spinning classes and yoga classes at the YMCA took a backseat to my business endeavors and starting my own home-based business.

One of my favorite people on Twitter, Kelly Olexa, signed up for Beach Body and soon after I decided to do the same because I respect her high energy, determination and discipline. After only one month of doing Insanity, she said she had lost one inch on her waistline!

I can't wait to have a group I can motivate and inspire and get fit with.
