My name is Carolyn and I'm a 44 year young woman with 2 beautiful children. I first started using P90X last year after my husband bought it. He thought it would be fun for the whole family to do it together. I finally got serious about it, and decided to see if I could make it through the full 90 days. I was motivated by my 25 year high school class reunion. Well, I did make it through, to my surprise. I didn't take before and after pictures (I'm really sorry about that now!) but I did take measurements and those statistics. I went from a starting weight of 135 lbs. (which wasn't horrible for my height of 5' 4") down to 114 lbs. I lost 20 inches overall which is what made me happiest. The results came fairly quickly, and as they kept coming, I was more and more motivated to continuing pushing play! The workouts were fun, and because things were changed up often enough, I was never bored! Unfortunately, I'm human, and after I reached my initial goal, I started taking it (a little too) easy. I've lost some of the gains that I had made last year, and I'm doing it all again. I want to get back to where I was last summer. I was sleeping well, had tons of energy, and was happy (really happy!) with the way I looked. I want it back, and I'm going after it. I hope you'll join me!
