Hi everybody! I am 38 years old and have 6 kids a nd a grandbaby. I have been in the Air Force for 18years now and have been in different degrees of some kind of shape over these years. Right now my shape is kind of round!

OK here it goes. As a youth I was pretty chunky for years. After High School (1988) I lost from 160 to 132 in a year by not eating much of anything. I know.......bad idea right? Well I joined the More ...
OK here it goes. As a youth I was pretty chunky for years. After High School (1988) I lost from 160 to 132 in a year by not eating much of anything. I know.......bad idea right? Well I joined the Airforce at 132 in 1990. 4 years ago I made my most recient trip out of the country and spent a little over 90 days in Iraq. Great trip, both personally and physically. when I left I weighed the most I ever have. 195 lbs did not look good on me at all! Well I had nothing better to do in my spare time so I went to the gym 7 days a week and did 30 minutes on the bike and 30 minutes with the weights. I ate healty and had 6 small meals a day. I came home at 165 and felt great. Fast forward to the second half of 2008 and here I am again hovering around the 190 mark.

Something has to give here. I started walking and doing pushups and situps a couple days a week. I feel better already after two weeks.

I made a major mistake a week into my exercise program and mentioned to my wife that I needed to be on a diet. Well she is REALLY good at keeping me on the diet!!!!!!!

All kidding aside my beautiful wife and I are changing our eating habits and eating small meals 6 times a day. I exercise at work and am blessed to have gym within walking distance.

The good news is that I have already lost a few pounds and feel alot better. I am pushing myself a little farther every day.

We shall see what happen over the weeks to come! When I can get my energy level back up I am going to try working out with my coach CyndiLou!
