For years I was very thin, teased for it in fact. I quit smoking, lost two close family members in 2 years and i really started gaining weight. I got married in 1993 and got pregant on my honeymoon. I More ...
For years I was very thin, teased for it in fact. I quit smoking, lost two close family members in 2 years and i really started gaining weight. I got married in 1993 and got pregant on my honeymoon. I really ate for two. I was fortunate to stay home and would eat off the kids plates (I was raised NOT to waste food) After she was in preschool I started losing weight as I wanted to go back to work p/t. Only to find I was pregnant again. This time I ate healthier and didn't gain as much, Until my son was born. He had some minor health issues but the stress added on the pounds. After we found he would be okay I joined Jenny Craig and lost weight but it was TOO expensive for me to keep up for long. Then I joined WW and that too worked but I never stuck with it. MY schedule didn't match their meetings. Finally I saw HHA's, my now 13yr old thought it would be fun to try together. We did start it and she went on to find other things to do. But I found Beachbody and the MDB communities. People just like me (an online "meeting", if you will) and even if I can't make it at their time I can still catch up on everyone at my time. It's been 3 weeks and I've seen some really solid results. Today I start my coaches 2 week chalenge and I can't wait to see the changes take place. I'll let you know how it goes.....
