I have always been active in sports and the outdoors since I was a kid. After having been a river guide for 10 years, I had to settle down and get a "real" job. That was when I realized that I can't just eat and drink whatever I want with no concequences in regards to my health and my physique. Sitting in front of a computer all day at work does not benefit one's health whatsoever.

I hate the gym; I get there and have no idea what to do first, get engulfed in people-watching, have to wait on a machine to open up, have to get dressed to go there, etc. Too many things get in the way of getting a great workout and getting on with my day. Since work no longer gave me a workout, I began Beachbody workouts at home. I love rolling out of bed and getting my sweat on! Or, if I need the extra rest, I sweat it out at home after work. It's so convenient and the schedules for each program are laid out for you, so there's no guess work! I have been doing Beachbody workouts since 1998, beginning with Power 90, and love each and every one of them!

After my most recent knee surgery where a lot of my meniscus had to be removed, I was told I can no longer do any high impact workouts again if I want to keep my knees intact. Since I LOVE high impact workouts, I have had to get creative and will be incorporating more biking and swimming into my arsenal of activities to stay fit and lean. Luckily, many of the Beachbody workouts have a modifier so that I can follow the moves in a low impact, high-intensity manner and still get great results! Thanks, Beachbody!
