I am 46 years old and I have a daughter in college. My wife, an Aerobics instructor for the last 20 plus years has been very supportive. I am a Fire Chief and my job keeps me on the go 24/7. I used to work out all the time and then boredom set in and I stopped. Now that I have discovered P90X I am looking to get back into shape. Riding my Harley is my peace of mind. I have completed my 90 days of P90X. "My goals were to lose 20lbs, build upper body strength/muscle, get that six pack abs that I never had, and develop better eating habits."

As of 03/08/07 the results of hard work and commitment paid off and it showed. I have lost fifteen pounds and feel great. My arms, shoulders and back are developing nicely. I have finely been able to do pull-ups without using a chair all the time. That’s when you know the hard work is paying off, it’s a great feeling and it gives you that extra incentive to keep going.

When I first attempted the AB Ripper X, I could not come close to completing it so I worked on other AB exercises to get me started. Now I am completing AB X and although my form is not the best, it is getting better with every session. I did not obtain the six-pack abs I hope to but I did lose three and one half inches off my waist. I expect to get there during my next 90 days. I still have a lot of work to do but I feel great.

I'm still finding it difficult to schedule my workouts with consistency; my job can be very demanding so I need to keep working on that. Joining in on the WOWY sessions has helped.

My eating habits have changed tremendously and I have noticed the difference. I can’t believe that I made it through the holidays and lost weight, so cool. I still enjoyed the holiday treats but in small quantities.

Now that I have finished the first 90 days I am taking a small break and going on vacation. I am planning on push ups and sit ups while I’m away and will start round two when I get back. P90X ROCKS!! Stay tuned more to come...
