A spec ed teacher, wife, and mom trying to get back in shape. Was running and doing cardio but not loosing weight. Gonna try the P90X and see what happens. So far so good.

I am in phase II and proud I have stuck it out. My 30 day pics don't reflect how I feel. I feel strong and I guess my muscles are just under a little bit of padding right now. As of this More ...
I am in phase II and proud I have stuck it out. My 30 day pics don't reflect how I feel. I feel strong and I guess my muscles are just under a little bit of padding right now. As of this morning...I finally lost some weight. Five pounds. Yeah! Most of which was probably sweat from kempo. I will have to re-weigh myself after I drink some water. =) Sticking with portion control too and keeping track of calories. I have a greater apprciation for what my body can do vs looks likes. I love when I bend down on the floor to help a student, I feel my muscles supporting me. I am grateful to God for a working body. I see kids in wheel chairs everyday and know at any moment I can loose the precious gift of a body that can walk, breath, and toilet on its own. Hope you are equally grateful!
