Have had a weight issue most of my life. After grad school I committed myself to losing weight and dropped about 50 pounds getting to around 185. Once in the corporate world I slowly let the weight come back. By late 2004, I knew something had to change. I was up to 260+ and got winded walking up the stairs at work. For the next six months I followed the South Beach Diet and lost 80 pounds.
