Hi, I am 30 & just got married in July 09. My husband & I have been together for 4 years and have a wonderful 3yr old son. I have always been a fan of exercise....I would just start slacking every now & then. But, I am committed now more than ever & want to be a healthy role model for my family & others. I love seeing others transform themselves as well.

My goal is to lose fat & build muscle. So far I have gained 10lbs of muscle. I have been into fitness since I was about 17. After having a baby I realized I could not eat the same as I used to.  More ...
My goal is to lose fat & build muscle. So far I have gained 10lbs of muscle. I have been into fitness since I was about 17. After having a baby I realized I could not eat the same as I used to. But it wasn't until recently that I started tightening up my diet and fitness regimen. At 22(I'm 30 now), I was diagnosed with a heart condition(my resting heart rate beats too fast), so I take medication for it everyday to keep it from going so fast. A few years later, I was diagnosed with severe asthma, I take medication for this twice a day. Sometimes, it is hard for me to keep up with others...cardio wise, but I do my best. Having these health conditions, I know how hard it is, but I also know that it's even more essential that I do workout & eat right. I want to be a healthy role model for others....especially my son. And I want to show people that having health problems doesn't mean the end. I will never say I can't do it because I know I can...it just might take me a little longer.
