I know it takes a lot of determination and motivation- but together, we can do it! I live for this stuff!! I am always here, even if you just need some motivation and support. I am constantly researching and studying nutrition and exercise/ fitness, and would love to be able to coach you and help you get the results you are seeking! A little about myself. I am an FMF Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy going on 6 years now. I have been stationed with the Marines my entire time in, and LOVE IT!! Being in the military has really taught me the discipline and motivation needed to achieve anything- especially staying in shape. I have always been into fitness since I was a child. Starting with old school aerobics with my mom, to CrossCountry and Track in High School, to my military physical training. I am a fitness leader in the military, and it is my job to keep my troops physically fit. I am 24 years old, and married to a wonderful man, who keeps me motivated to stay in shape. We have been married for 3 years now, and I have a beautiful little girl named Saphira. After the birth of my child, I was left with 15 lbs. to lose- with the help of the Beachbody website, and P90X, I have managed to lose 20 lbs so far, and am continuing down the road to my fitness goals. With the help of the wonderful Beachbody community, I was able to lose all my baby weight within 4 months after having my daughter. I thank Beachbody and P90X completely for being able to get me back into standards. It wasn't an easy journey, but I am feeling great, and I am motivated to get others to feel wonderful about themselves too! Growing up I was always pretty thin, even though I never thought so. When I was 15 I was diagnosed with Bulimia and Body Dysmorphic Disorder. In my eyes I never thought I could be thin enough, and it really took a toll on me emotionally and physically. When I joined the military I managed to keep it under control, even though secretly I was just never satisfied with myself. I found the biggest challenge I ever had to face in losing weight was after I had my daughter. I had a C-section, and couldn't even workout for the first two months. I am in the Navy, and we have to be back within standards in 6 months- so that only left me with 4 months to lose the baby weight. I didn't know what I was going to do. I was suffering from PostPartum depression, and there were times I felt like just giving up. I then saw the infomercial for P90X and I was inspired to say the least. I started the P90X, started running, ate clean, and managed to lose the baby weight within those 4 months. I really would have never been able to do it without the wonderful support I got through the BeachBody website, and Tony Horton really reached out and inspired me to "Do my best and forget the rest". I am a much healthier person today- in my mind and body. I still have relapses with my bulimia, but I am doing a ton better than before, I just take it one day at a time. I have started to learn to accept my body, and be happy with what was given to me. So I just want to say, from personal experience, the road your going down may be hard, there may be times you just want to give up, but when you are at your lowest time, just remember you are worth it.
