Transformation story

The second I started the Fit Test, I thought, "holy crap, I'm an idiot!" I felt like I just wasted my money. There would be no way I could do this! Well that was 30 mins ago haha!

The second I started the Fit Test, I thought, "holy crap, I'm an idiot!" I felt like I just wasted my money. There would be no way I could do this! Well that was 30 mins ago haha!

Now after getting some water and resting a bit, I feel like I want to run around the block, I feel great! So if I feel this good now after just the Fit Test, just wait until P90X kicks my ass. I'll feel awesome!!!!! Well, that's my theory. Time to test it. Day 1 begins tomorrow. Wish me luck!

1 Week after my 90 Days

I was right! It did kick my ass, and I do feel better than ever! My clothes are baggy and I've been getting tons of compliments. That is motivation enough to keep pushing play every time. I can't wait to start again next week. Overall I'd give myself a D for completion/intensity compared to Tony and the folks on the DVDs, but I'd give myself a B on my results and gains. I'm very pleased because of what I accomplished and the room I still have left to grow! I will get there!

PS I did my 1st ever pull up, that was HUGE for me!!!

Last Week of 2nd Round

I started this round average, but finished strong! The first half of this round I realized I wasn't pushing myself as hard as possible. I added weight to most of the exercises and X'd it the rest of the way. In all I lost 15 pounds and added 3 push ups, 4 arm curls, +1 min on wall squat, and almost doubled my in/outs from 26 to 50!! I also learned how to keep moving forward instead of just getting the work done! I took some big steps this round!

On a side note I started running. I did 2.5 miles my first time out! In school, I was barely able to finish out a mile with a run/walk combo in 30 mins. Last night was my best run to date, 3 miles in 31 min 37 sec!! I've come a long way!

Next week starts a new journey: INSANITY!!!!

I'm going to commit myself to the full 2 months to see where that takes me. After that I might try a P90X/Insanity hybrid to get the weights back into my routine. Wish me luck!
