32 yo with wife and 2 sons. I've been gradually gaining weight for the previous 12 years...up to 230 when I first attempted, and quit, p90x 2 years ago. Hit 240 last winter. In the last 1.5 months, through running and eating healthy, I've dropped to 218 and am getting pretty fit. I ran 4 miles one day last week... twice as far as I've ever run in my life.

EDIT... totally quit that round after a few weeks, got up to around 240 one year later.

EDIT... totally quit that round after a few weeks, got up to around 240 one year later.

oct 22, 2009 I was about 237 and started eating right and running. I did a couch 2 5k program and ate healthy food at 1600-1700 calories a day and dropped to 218 by Dec 14 2009. Resting pulse dropped to 55. Recovery heart rate at one minute is over 50.... Ran a 5k race, etc. Now I'm thinking about starting p90x and finishing it. I am at a much better starting point than I was the first time I tried.
