Woodbridge, VA I have been a military wife for 20 years, a mom for 18 years to now three children, a daughter for 44 years, a sister to three siblings, homeschooling for the past 12 years and over weight most of my life. I have been up and down the scale more times than i can count. I am tired of feeling out of breath, unhealthy and FAT. More importantly I am tired of making excuses for having this body. I I have been a military wife for 20 years, a mom for 18 years to now three children, a daughter for 44 years, a sister to three siblings, homeschooling for the past 12 years and over weight most of my life. I have been up and down the scale more times than i can count. I am tired of feeling out of breath, unhealthy and FAT. More importantly I am tired of making excuses for having this body. I remember what it feels like to feel healthy. I must admit it is good and bad. I like feeling good in my clothes, feeling healthy, and feeling strong. I like the attention I receive, but at the same time it scares the hell out of me. Every other time, once the compliments started, I began to sabotage myself. Why? I hear it isn't uncommon, but I don't know why. I enjoy giving myself the time to exercise. I also enjoy food. I am starting down the road of menopause. It brings all kinds of issues itself, but I do know if I were healthier, I would not feel as bad. I want to do this first for me, but also to teach my children how to live a healthy life. I enjoy all outdoor activities, theater, reading, friends and life. My favorite time would be a beautiful activity-filled day outside with my family. I will be working over the next couple days to get into the right mindset, so that this works. I want a change that will last for the rest of my life.

01/18/10 Yipee!!! Lost another 1.8 lbs. So happy after my italian meal last night. Even happier about measurements.
