My wife and I are completing 17 years of marriage this year. When we first met I was the classic jock in football and she was in drill team. We married shortly after high school and we were both in great shape. I weighed about 190lbs and she was 98lbs. Through the years and four children later we have both have severely changed physically. We both have found it more convenient to eat on the run (McDonalds, Sonic) with the kids and really have developed a poor eating habit. I recently began an application for my wife and I to get life insurance policies and of course they came to do the in house checkups. I knew I was overweight but I did not know by how much. When I had to get on that scale and the nurse told me I weighed 265lbs and said "Are you sure that scale is right?" I could not believe it. That whole next week I kept telling myself I need to do something. Well I happened to see a P90X infomercial and saw Tony and the real life people who had gone through some incredible transformations. I checked it out on-line and told my wife we need to get this. I had seen others in the past but something about this kept me thinking and "believing" it would work for me. I bought the product and all week was so excited to get my shipment. I set up my area, bought my dumb bells and mats. I went through all our foods in the pantry and told the kids to eat it up because this is the last you will see alot of this junk in the house. I began 3 weeks ago and am proud to say that I have lost 20 pounds and I am truly feeling great. When I first started I would play with the kids (daughter 14, son 12, son 8, daughter 3) and I really could not keep up with them. Especially the two older ones who play select basketball and football. My oldest daughter plays for her high school and my son will be here in the fall. I also played with my younger son soccer and could not go for too long before my heart felt like it was going to jump right out of my chest! I also would be so sore I could not move the next day. Since I started P90X I can keep up with them and guess what I am not sore or even out of breath as much. The kids have noticed a significant change. I love this program and I am determined to reach my goal. Oh my wife has seen the changes as well and is beginning her program next week. Thanks P90X and thank you Tony! BRING IT!!!!!
