I've entered a time of my life when I FINALLY realized I need to take control. I've allowed too many external stresses to run my life: jobs, family, etc. The jobs are necessary, family is critical, but I needed to find some balance. After getting married in June, 2008 (and gaining weight prior to the wedding because of all the STRESS of planning the wedding, being a single mom, working 4 jobs I've entered a time of my life when I FINALLY realized I need to take control. I've allowed too many external stresses to run my life: jobs, family, etc. The jobs are necessary, family is critical, but I needed to find some balance. After getting married in June, 2008 (and gaining weight prior to the wedding because of all the STRESS of planning the wedding, being a single mom, working 4 jobs and maintaining a long-distance relationship with my husband-to-be), I managed to gain another 10 pounds. In 4 months. And it was UGLY. Cellulite from my knees to my shoulders. Front and back. Not acceptable. So, last month I joined Weight Watchers and I've learned to take time away from one of my "stresses" and make time to grocery shop for the right foods, cook and enjoy eating healthy. I also started going to yoga, which I LOVE (love, love, love). I need some cardio and want to create a tight, toned mid-section so Hip Hop Abs really appealed to me. I'm still waiting for my shipment to arrive and I can't wait to get it on!
I'm 46 years old, newly married with a 10-year-old daughter. We live in Wisconsin. I love to golf and travel and my family is the most important thing in the world to me.

My weight loss so far through Weight Watchers and yoga has taken 13 pounds of fat, fat, fat from my body. The problem is, I don't FEEL like I've lost a single pound. Everything jiggles and nothing fits. I need to kick it up a notch and get back to the hottie I once was. I'm going to be on a beach in Dominican Republic with my parents, siblings and our spouses in mid-January and I WILL NOT BE FAT. I want my husband to chase my tight little butt along the shoreline.
