In the spring of 2011, I had recently had my second child (2 c-sections in 22 months). When my son was about 6 weeks old, I met some co-workers for a pedicure. It was my first outing since the baby was born, and the first time I really did anything for myself. For some reason, seeing the blue polish with white flowers on my toes set something off inside me. In the spring of 2011, I had recently had my second child (2 c-sections in 22 months). When my son was about 6 weeks old, I met some co-workers for a pedicure. It was my first outing since the baby was born, and the first time I really did anything for myself. For some reason, seeing the blue polish with white flowers on my toes set something off inside me. I decided I wanted to live a healthier lifestyle, both for myself and my family. I want to be a good example to my sons. I want to teach them healthy habits, so they start out on a good path. I want to be healthy so I can enjoy life and spend as much quality time with my family as possible. I also need to keep my energy up so I can chase my little ones around and play with them.
I was never an athelete, and I wasn't really into working out. However, I made a commitment to change that. In May of 2011, I began my first Beachbody fitness program. I decided to start with Yoga Booty Ballet. I love dancing and yoga, and this looked like it was just my speed. I LOVED it! I completed the program, and saw amazing results. I then decided to do ChaLEAN Extreme, as I was interested in weightlifting and building muscle. I completed that program, and I was very pleased with my results. Since then I have done Rockin’ Body, Hip Hop Abs, Brazil Butt Lift, and a little P90X. I have even done a live workout with Mr. P90X himself, Tony Horton!!! Since joining Team Beachbody I have lost weight and inches while increasing my muscle mass. I actually look forward to working out now! I feel great, and I have so much more energy now.

I started my journey to a healthier lifestyle in April of 2011. I had recently had my second c-section in 22 months, and I was ready to get moving and get into shape. I am happy to report that after faithfully working out, I have lost weight and inches. I have lost a combined total of 13 inches and 9.4% body fat. I can't wait to keep going and see what kind of results I can achieve!
