Fitness has always been a part of my life, but little did I know that I would
make a career out of it. After college, I explored many different career
options and ended up getting a Master's Degree in Education. By chance,
after years of being a group fitness instructor, I became the Group Fitness
Director for a chain of ladies only gyms in NW Ohio/SE Michigan. I teach group fitness classes

Transformation story

My transformation story is actually a work in progress. Although I have
always been an exercise fanatic, maintaining a healthy weight has always
been a struggle for me. I played 3 sports More ...
My transformation story is actually a work in progress. Although I have
always been an exercise fanatic, maintaining a healthy weight has always
been a struggle for me. I played 3 sports in high school and was always
active. When I went to college, I found the "freedom" of college life and easily
gained weight. However, after becoming a group fitness instructor after
college I was able to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

My struggle has come in the last few years with my pregnancies. Despite the
fact that I taught classes up until the day I delivered, I still gained 55 lbs with
my son. I never lost all of the weight before becoming pregnant with my
daughter. I ended up gaining almost 40 lbs with her. So, needless to say, I
have an uphill battle. I know a lot of you new moms can relate! =)

I have had great success since the beginning of 2009 with programs like ChaLEAN Extreme, Turbo Jam and Insanity and Shakeology has become a staple of my nutrition! I have lost 85 lbs so far and am still going! I can't wait to achieve the fitness level I've always wanted to reach!
