I was channel surfing at about 3AM one morning, and saw an infomercial for Tony's Power Half Hour program. I was tired of being so heavy and decided to do something about it. I ordered PHH, but didn't start until 2-2-05. In 6 months I had gone from a size 20W to a 16. I lost 50 lbs, from 230 to 180. I tried some of BB's other programs, but just couldn't find the motivation that I found with Tony, so I bought Power 90. I also bought the P90 Master Series, as I had the extra money. I started P90 on 2-6-06, but due to an accident and extenuating injuries, I wasn't able to work out for quite a while. Depression set in, and I didn't do much of anything for a long time. I finally managed to pull myself out of that slump, but let the stress of my job and the holidays keep me from pushing play.
One of the ladies on the message boards woke me up one day by saying that instead of making resolutions for the new year, we need to make S.M.A.R.T. goals. Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely goals. So I did.
I found out on 1/28/08 that I have leukemia, so I went on a mission to see what would slow the progression of my disease. I found that exercise and healthy eating were key to slowing down my white cell count. Thanks to exercising and eating healthier(mostly),and getting a divorce, my white cell count has gone down to 13,900! That's where it was when I was originally diagnosed.
I have been lackadaisical in my exercising this past year, and because of that, I have not lost any weight. In fact, I've gained about 5 lbs, and my BMI has gone up quite a bit. I finally got my head back on straight, and am starting to exercise and eat healthier once again.
For me this is a lifelong journey, so I decided to become a coach and see if I could help anyone the way that I have been helped through BB and my coach.
