I started out at 187 lbs. WOW! Can't believe I was even there! I am working toward losing 50 lbs. (I have now lost 55 lbs.!! YEAH!! I now weigh 132 lbs.!!!! I have passed 50 lbs.!!!) YAY!! Yay! So More ...
I started out at 187 lbs. WOW! Can't believe I was even there! I am working toward losing 50 lbs. (I have now lost 55 lbs.!! YEAH!! I now weigh 132 lbs.!!!! I have passed 50 lbs.!!!) YAY!! Yay! So excited1! I had gained those extra lbs. over a period of 4 years because I stopped working out just 10-15 minutes per day - how silly!!! So, I have been back at it with the 10-minute trainer. I have used it for 36 months now and have seen a 55 lb drop and feel better all over! AND, I LOOK good again!!! woohoo! and at my age, I am THRILLED with my results. I have also changed my eating habits some and am still working on changing those by using the 10-minute trainer meal guide and Michi's Ladder as much as I can (I eat from Tier 1 and 2 Most of the time). I think most of us with weight problems have this problem along with me. It's hard because most of the other people in my family (your family) don't worry about what they eat usually because they have a better metabolism, they are taller, they walk alot in their job during the day where I sit at a desk most all day for 8-10 hours, thus NO MOVEMENT! So, men, usually can eat MORE for dinner and they like steak and potatoes kind of meals and full course dinners where women, like me, prefer lighter meals. It's a REAL problem and that is why I gained 50 lbs. I had a boyfriend of 6 years (we're apart now) and he decided I wasn't eating enough, I think, and he FED me so much food that sometimes I thought I was going to scream! I begged him NOT to bring me ice cream in bed at midnight along with his snack, or cake at bedtime or candy at bedtime, he's horrible that way! It's a sweet gesture, but it gained me 50 lbs., bless his heart! He loves to cook and grill and does all of that wonderfully and I have felt like I HAD to eat since he went to all of that trouble to cook big dinners for us, but NOW I HAVE to change it for myself or I will just continue to get heavier. So, I started changing my eating habits at work first. More juices, fruits and vegetables during the day and no BIG lunch, it seems to be really working. Also, I have taken my ab roller and exercise mat to work and we have an area in back of my office where I can work out in private - no one is back there anyway. So, while I heat up my applesauce for breakfast (takes 2 1/2 minutes in the microwave) I do 50 crunches and 50 situps on the ab-roller. Then I do 50 leg lifts each leg. That's about 5 minutes and then I start working. At night or early in the morning, I will also do 50 SIDE leg lifts each leg and 75 bent leg side buttocks exercises and try to do this each day or at least every other day. Then at night I am trying to follow the 10-20 minute 10 minute trainer calendar, I will follow it exactly and see how I do. I have just been working up to it for the past two weeks because I was so out of shape I couldn't do it all at first. I feel I am ready now to move forward with it as much as I can. I am excited about the NEXT 10 lbs. I plan to lose.....Since I am a Coach, I will be inviting all of my customers to be Success Buddies with me and join me for the workouts starting now - I can't wait to see my weight and inches Winter of 2009!!
