In the past, finding time to workout was very difficult. I've never been an active person. Until high school, I was very overweight and self-conscious. Fortunately, when I was about 15 I experienced a height growth spurt that helped me lose almost 50 pounds, and I did begin eating slightly more healthy foods. However, that's about where it ended for me. Sure, I've always been concerned with wanting to be healthy, and I've had spurts of commitment - maybe going to the gym every day for a week, or finding a healthy diet that I followed for a few days. Nothing stuck, though, and I've been lacking energy and motivation for many years.

That changed when I discovered Beachbody. About a year ago, I finally committed to making fitness a part of my life. It's not an extra chore that I have to do each day - it's a vital part of my routine that I look forward to. I still can't get over how amazing and energized I feel after each workout! I credit the Beachbody community to helping me stay motivated and encouraged through the use of great tools like this WOWY site. I'm finally starting to like the way I feel in my own body, and I feel more energetic than ever. And this is just the beginning!

My history: On 10/28/09 I finished the ChaLEAN Extreme 90-day program, and I could not be happier with the results! Firstly, it's the first time in my life I've ever completed a workout plan. What an amazing accomplishment! Additionally, I lost 12 pounds (which is a lot for my height and small frame, and was more than my goal), several percentage points in body fat and at least 10 inches throughout my waist, thighs, and arms. I've also gained noticeable MUSCLE, which I've never had before, and I've gained CONFIDENCE like never before!

Currently, I'm doing a combination of Turbo Fire and ChaLean Extreme. I reached my goal weight, but that doesn't mean I'm stopping. My new goals include:

- Getting down to 14% body fat
- Being able to do at least 10 pull-ups (so hard for me!)
- Maintaining my current weight
- Reducing my sugar intake
