February 11, 2012 - Wow. I haven't done this for a long time now and I'm sad to say, I'm seeing the results of that. I just updated my goals and went from 68% complete to 17% complete. OUCH! Well, I knew I had back slidden quite a bit...I had some health challenges this past year so the good news is that I FEEL better, health-wise, but the down side is that I've regained 25 of the 35 pounds I lost. So, round two, right?

August 27, 2010 Update - This has been an interesting summer in Portland, OR. The weather has been all over the map and I haven't been as physical as I'd like. The good news is that I've maintained my 30 pound weight loss for more than a year now and I'm consistently working on improving my own fitness level. Looking for a new challenge...hmmm...which BeachBody program do I want to try next? I'll think about it and report back to let you know what I decide! I'd love to hear what program YOU'LL be choosing next! Do shoot me an email and tell me which ones you enjoy the most! I'd love to hear your recommendations!

NEW YEAR'S UPDATE - Well, I back-slid a bit over the holidays but not too terribly, so I'm not kicking myself in the butt over it. Instead, I'm feeling good about the fact that I was actually pretty controlled over the holidays and made mostly really great food choices! WOOT! I _did_ gain 3.5 pounds since last update on November 13th, so I'm anxious to get those burned back off.

Here is where I ran into the single biggest challenge - I completely dropped off my workout program for this past month! Ever since I put up the Christmas tree. It really leaves no room in our living room for me to do my workouts...and that's the only space in our house big enough for me to do them.

SOooo...tomorrow we are having our family holiday party here at the house. On Sunday I am taking down the tree and re-arranging the living room so I can do my workouts again. I ALSO ORDERED 10 MINUTE TRAINER!!! Which is supposed to arrive by Jan. 6th! My birthday is on the 24th, so I am going to be really dedicated to get below my lowest recorded weight since I started my BeachBody adventure! My goal is to get down to 160 by January 24th (my birthday). That means I need to lose 9.5 pounds in just over 3 weeks. I believe that's reasonable and I know I can do it!

I'll post another update on my birthday, with photos, so watch for that!

Nov. 13, 2009 - WOO HOO! I'm back down to my lowest recorded weight (again) today and at 52% of the way toward reaching my overall fitness goal! That means I'm MORE than half way there! Yippie!

Keep your eyes on my page because I will be posting updated photos the week of November 20th - 24th since I'm pushing to reach my all-time lowest weight (within the last 25 years anyhow!)by that date! The lowest weight I remember being was 162 in about 2002. So, I'm shooting to be at 162 by the 24th of this month. When I reach 160 I think I'm going to throw myself a little celebration party!!!

Sept. 20, 2009 - I have lost 25 pounds since my all time high of 193 pounds last January. Even though I've lost that weight, I am just now starting on my Beachbody journey of getting fit and toned. I have 23 more pounds to lose to reach my goal weight of 145 pounds and a lot of work to get my muscle tone and endurance levels to the point where I want them! Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009 marks the date my Team Beachbody coaching package with my first fitness program dvd, Hip Hop Abs, will arrive! I am SO pumped up to get started on that program and to see the transformation awaiting my body!

I joined this site in December of 2008 weighting 189 lbs. Between that time and the end of January 2009 I gained another 4 pounds for an all time high of 193 lbs. I never even weighed that much when I was fully 9 months pregnant with any of my 3 children! So, that really impacted me in a BIG way.

Since March 2009 I have been steadily watching my diet and working out and I feel GREAT about the progress I'm making! I have been following a primarily Raw Foods Lifestyle which means I try to consume about 80% of my diet in raw, whole foods. I allow the 20% for cooked foods and keeping myself from feeling deprived. It has been working really well for me.

When my friend and Team Beach Body coach, Lori Burns, suggested I'd be a great Team Beach Body coach it seemed like a natural choice for me!

I'm excited about reaching my own weight-loss and fitness goals and if I can help others along the way that makes me really happy!
