A little over a year ago, I was 235lbs. I decided it was time to get up off my butt and do something about it. Most of my family is overweight, and I did not want to end up like that. I started to watch what I ate and drank for a couple months and lost about 15 pounds. I was 220 lbs and still out of shape when I started P90X. I did the first 2 rounds fully committed and then worked on and off for about 3 more months. I dropped about 35 more pounds to 185. In the summer, I was able to do a coast to coast bicycle ride from Oregon to Maine. Since then, I have lost a lot of muscle and am feeling unhealthy and lazy because I haven't been working out as much. So, I decided it was time to get back in shape.
