About myself: I'm 46 and live in Colorado with my fiance (wedding date 9/10/11) and our two pups, Gunner, a chesapeake bay retriever and Tecla, a yellow lab and retired service dog (He was the first one I raised!). I have a career in public health, but Beachbody coaching is my passion (yes, you can have a "day job" and be a coach!).
Like so many people my diet and fitness got a bit off track as I got older. I would lose weight through exercise, but not be able to maintain my level of exercise, and then I would slide back into no exercise and less than ideal eating habits. I was very involved in training for and doing triathlons, but over time, I was unable to keep up the hours of training. And then I would slide into less activity and poor eating...you get the picture! All that changed in the Spring of 2007, when I started my first Beachbody program. It does not matter whether you are here to lose serious weight, or to gain an edge in the performance of your favorite sport, there is a program for you! I really like that! As your coach, I'm here to help you achieve your fitness goals. Come! Join me in the journey to better health and wellness!

My "before" picture, or my "goodbye" picture, as some people call them, was taken in the Fall of 2006. I was at the beach, but you would never know it! There was NO WAY I was going to wear a bikini in public. Instead, I bought a baggy pair of boy's surf shorts - hoping it would hide my weight. I knew something had to change, but I wasn't sure how to make the change I needed in a way that I could sustain it. I was approaching 155 pounds(which is a lot for 5'4")! So many women in my family have been overweight (no exercise, poor eating habits). I had always vowed I would not let that happen to me, and here I was headed down that path. UGH! I needed something I could maintain without a huge time commitment. In the Spring of 2007 I found Slim in 6 - WOW - What a difference! And I wasn't spending hours a day working out or paying $$$ to a personal trainer or a gym! I discovered the Beachbody community when I ordered Power 90 Master Series the following Fall. What an incredible network of support! This company wants you to succeed and provides you with all the tools to do it! I am hooked and you will be too. After Power90 Master Series, I did P90X, Turbo Jam, ChalEAN Extreme, One-on-One, a Shaun T. Insanity Fit Camp, and currently I'm completing Turbo FI-YA! YOU CAN DO THIS!
