I was always active in football and weightlifting in high school. However, I had no control over what I ate and how much I ate. I ate mostly junk food and lots of it. I justified eating a lot because of all the football practice and weight-lifting. I was always self-conscious of my weight and no "diet" or pill seemed to work.

When I started P90X, I realized the importance of eating clean. You can work out until you're blue in the face, but if you eat junk, that's what your results will look like. It took a long time to develop healthy eating habits; it doesn't just happen over night. I like Tony Horton's quote from P90X, "Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was your body."

I have lost 35 pounds using P90X, INSANITY, and by developing healthy eating habits over time. When I started at 223 lbs, I didn't think I had 35 pounds to lose, but now that I'm here I'm ready to take it even further! More muscle. Less fat. Bring It!
