I'm here just to let you know that NORMAL people with HECTIC schedules can do P90, SI6, and PHH and see great results. Fun thing about this too is that you keep going from Day ninety..to day 180...and so on and so on...
To let you know on my progress, it is 4/06/04 and I haven't gained any weight back. But, I have slacked off on my workouts and cheated every now and then on my diet, so my muscles aren't as buldging as I'd like them to be. And yes, I'm still working on those #&*@ abs of steel....arrr...
So if you want to get serious, GRRRRRRRRR, I mean SERIOUS, let's get going.

After high school I stopped playing sports and the weight slowly and surely tagged on over the years until I reached a depressing 225 lbs (only known due to an unavoidable physical for work). *** UPDATE 9-27-03 So I had to get a doctor's something-another for my mom to file some stuff in my medical records. Long story short, the last doctor's report had my weight at 232...not that I'm proud of this or anything but it makes my weight loss different..now...on with the show*** It may have been even higher but I never weighed myself and even refused to go to the doctor when I was sick for fear that someone would see how much I weighed (as if they couldn't see through the layers upon layers of clothes I wore to hide my body). I hated going out to the mall, grocery store, really anywhere because I would always run into someone I knew and could see in their eyes the look of "wow, she's packed on a couple". And don't mention exercise. I would be exhausted by the time I went upstairs to go to bed that I would have to stop and catch my breath before relaxing.
So in late December of 2001, I decided there had to be a change. I saw the commecial for Power 90 that I had seen a million times while I was up late and I finally thought "Might as well". I had tried EVERY other scheme to lose weight andthis was a new one. No promises of rapid weight loss in four days, no eat-anything-and-dont-exercise-and-lose-fifty-pounds gimics. It really seems to say, "Hey, if you are willing to exercise about 30-40 minutes a day, this will work." Go figure. So I decided to get it. I didn't really have the money at the time so the two installments fit in my budget. So I ordered it in the first weeks of January in 2002 and it came in the mail in February. The first things that I loved about the tapes is that there were no fancy "dance moves" to master (like what you would experience in an aerobic class) I have tried too many and given up so quick because I spent the entire time trying to catch up and get the right move. So I began the tapes and did as much as I could but it took about two to three weeks to be able to complete the tapes without skipping a move or taking an extra break here and there. Even doing this I could still see some changes and lost about 10 lbs the first month. I got excited about the weight loss and so I slacked off on the tapes for about a week. I honestly could hear the tapes calling my name from the video cabinet every time I walked by. This period of going one month-then off a week went on for awhile. Over all the the 90 days I lost 25 lbs. Then in May I started taking the Women's total health and performance formula supplements and really hit it hard after school was over. I am at present down to around 180 now Hopefully I can get down to 15-18% again. Hey..a girl's got to have something to shoot for !!! Anywho, I have biscep muscles worth flexing now, and I am seeing the first stages of stomach muscles!! Wooohooo. And all those clothes I have saved over the years that "I might fit in again"??? Well, I'm able to fit them now. Yes, they are a little out of date, but that's not the point people!! Anyways, my goal is to get to maybe work my way down to 165 pounds and then finally down to the "Once unobtainable but now possible" goal weight of 155 lbs. This has been slightly altered due to the fact I have more muscle than I ever have. Not only am I looking better, but I'm feeling better too. My confidence increases every day. I even took an intermediate swimming class last semester!! I have been wanting to do that since I started college in 1998 but I never felt comfortable enough in a bathing suit. So that was a HUGE accomplishment for me!! And just a word to Tony, Debbie (both of whom I feel I know personally from hearing their voices on the tapes) *** UPDATE: Dude..I can't believe I won the trip to Hawaii!! The best thing about it was that I FINALLY got to meet and talk to "The" Tony. And let me tell you, he is all that and a bag of chips..errrr..carrots!! lol Seriously, he is one of the funniest, nicest, more genuine people I have ever met. IT just makes me love this p90 even more (and who thought THAT was possible!!??) *** and to who ever else needs encouragement:
I have never, ever been as happy with my body and my life as I am today. It is April 2004, and last year was wonderful (come on..I got to go to Hawaii for the first time ever!!) . I plan on this year being no different, mind you!!!I have spent too many years unhappy, depressed, lonely, and feeling like I need to stand to the side and let the world pass me by all because of my physical appearance. No more. It brings me to tears to think of how much my life has changed and if it is working SO WELL for me, how well it can work for someone else. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
I'm 24, 5'8, and a "super" senior in college and have been overweight ever since high school. I have spent the last five to six years hiding in the shadow of everyone else because I was ashamed of the way I looked. Everywhere I went I felt as if people were looking at me because I was so fat. I have been using Power 90 since February 2002 and have loved every minute of it. I start the tapes over all the time cause I just can't help myself!! My before picture is actually the summer of 2001 and I ended up adding on 20+ more pounds. I'm still looking for a good "bad" picture from Thanksgiving just so everyone (including myself) will know how far I've come. Also, my after picture is really the next "Before" picture because I'm doing the whole thing over again. I just love it!!! Wish me luck and good luck to you!!!
