Loosing weight will help me prevent diseases such as:heart disease, stroke, joint/bone problems, mobility issues, cancer, gastric problems and diabetes. As an RN I know this. I have seen all the problems that these diseases cause. As I spend most of my days teaching patient's "what they need to do to prevent disease"--me being overweight and high risk is not a good example. This turns my teaching into: "do what I say, not do what I do". I want to change my risk for disease and be a positive example for my patients, by using team beach body. My first day of following my diet and exercising have been hard. I can say that I would rather have french toast sticks and syrup--but, I did it. Also, I am so out of shape--and I am sore. Yet, with all of this, I feel good and am motivated to continue. I hope my journey will inspire you and we can get healthy and "melt the fat off" together. My buddies are my sons(24-21 years old0, who have been athletic most of their lives. They have been doing insanity daily for about a week--they have stated it is "insane and difficult".
