Now about me. I love food. All kinds of food. My food, your food...you name it. When I was younger I could eat it all and my weight was never a problem. I was one of those girls that didn't have to exercise.

I have always had what my dad calls a "hollow leg". It's not that I'm PROUD to say this but I can eat a lot.



In fact, my brother, who was a college football player, couldn't keep up with me. All well and good for a "skinny" girl. That's what I was, I topped the scales at 115 "soaking wet" for most of my life into my thirties...




When I became pregnant my habits didn't change, in fact I was now eating for 2! Needless to say I gained pregnancy weight and then some, only when she was born in 2002 my daughter didn't weigh 45 pounds so I had a lot to lose afterwards.




I didn't even worry about it at first. I guess I didn't really care, maybe I thought it would happen on it's own. Unfortunately my eating habits were ingrained and I had little if ANY workout ethic. Things weren't happening on their own.



It took some time but once I decided to put some effort into it I started Power 90. My heaviest post-pregnancy weight was 165 pounds, nearly 50 pounds over my "old weight". My sister and her husband really believed in the Power 90 program and she recommended I try it. As a stay-at-home Mom it appealed to me because, well, I could stay at home and do it.



It wasn't easy to start to reshape a lifetime of bad habits but with a regular program and an improvement in my eating I started to see the weight come off, my old figure started to peek out a little bit.



I still have work to do, I still have goals. I still have to work on improving my eating habits. But from where I was to where I am now I can't believe I ever waited, what was I waiting for anyway?
