I have experienced great results with the Slim In Six program in the first 3 weeks. I lost 8% body fat, 2 pounds, ½ inch on my waist and 1 inch around my chest. I am excited to share that my abs and triceps are firming up, heck everything is firming up!

My activity has been slowed down due to some medical challenges that I have experienced since the end of January. I should be back on track with my exercise program by the middle of March.

I have debated with myself whether or not to share this part of my story with you all and it came down to the fact that if this helps just one person, it is worth any discomfort I might feel while writing. I give thanks to God that I am here to write my story.

About eight years ago, I was diagnosed non-invasive breast cancer in one side. Due to having many biopsies on my breasts through the years, my family history of cancer and much research on behalf of my husband and myself, I chose the radical treatment of a bi-lateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. My choice saved my life. There was cancer in the other breast. I am a SURVUVOR. Yea!


I chose Slim In Six due to the way the program is designed. I felt the moves would strengthen my chest without causing any undue strain and pain. I found this is an awesome program for experiencing rapid results in dropping body fat, toning up, building muscle tone and improving balance without extreme soreness.

My husband and I work out together and we do laugh and have fun, however the first few days we didn’t laugh too much because we were concentrating so much on remaining upright. In the beginning I couldn’t keep up with the entire muscle group routine and I would just march in place, but I didn’t quit. One of the things I especially like is that I do not feel pushed to go beyond your own ability.

This brings me to the exciting news that working out with the bands has built muscle without stressing out my chest with free weights. I had NO idea that you could get such a great workout with rubber bands.

My focus is on gaining great balance, strength and endurance. This program has changed my life.

April 24, 2009---Update. An old injury is acting up so am doing Slim and Limber, walking and stretching for the last few weeks. In the meantime I have been supplimenting my diet with Shakeology, Greenberry. I find that my energy level is at an all time high even though I am not working out at this time.....I am counting on starting up with Slim 6 by the first of May!!!! In the meantime I continue to push play!
