Hello,
My name is Deborah and my goal is to lose 37lbs. My weight right now is 167lbs. I have had a lot of trouble losing weight after I had my 3 children. I have tried many diet programs and exercise workouts, but to no avail I didn't have the determination to stick with them. I don't like the word diet because a lot of people cannot stay on one and I am one of them.

I have had a lot of stresses in my life to overcome. I loss two brothers to cancer in one year and it just took a toll on me. This happened in 2008. My oldest brother passed in April and my second youngest brother passed on New Years Eve.

Now is the time for me to take back my life and feel good about myself again.

I was never an overweight person. So I am on my road to rediscovering myself and taking back what I allowed myself to lose all those years as I was growing-up. I am building my confidence back again. I feel like I am much stronger now and I can do this.

I never liked having my pictures taken being overweight and seeing what I allowed myself to get that way, but I am on my way back. I have always thought of myself as being a beautiful person inside and out. I love the person who I have always been and I wouldn't change the way I feel about myself other than to lose those few extra pounds and stay in good health. I love life and I am there for anyone who needs me.

I started the Shakeology workout program yesterday (Sept. 20th)boy I didn't realize how out of physical shape I was until I did the 30 minute workout. I told my husband after looking at the workout first that it is so easy that I can do it boy was I wrong. I was so sore after that, but I did make it through and today Sept. 21st I felt better, but still sore muscles. I am also taking the Shakeology drink which has helped me improve my energy level and has helped me stay off cholesterol medicine. I want to tone my body and have some muscle definition and lose those extra pounds. It will take time and effort to lose this weight, but I am in it for the long haul.

I will continue to strive toward my journey of being fit and healthy and to live a long life. We all deserve to be our best. Sometimes it might take those extra few steps to achieve, but if your willing to work at it you will make it. Life is too short, enjoy today.

I am working my way to a fitness program that will suit my needs at this time.

At this time I weigh 160. I loss 7 pounds so far as my starting date was Sept. 20, 2010. Today is January 13, 2011. I have been doing the Power Half-Hour and have incorporated Turbo Jam as of May 2011. I need to lose those last 30lbs. It is a struggle everyday, but taking the step in getting myself healthy again means a lot to me. I want to be around for my family, friends, & grandchildren and whoever I meet along my journey to help others as I have been helped by this community of Beachbody friends. You don't have to have the perfect body to help others get fit. You just have to have the right mindset in doing what is best for you and others as you help them reach their goals.
