Now 1/26/2010: Second semester is in swing for this teacher. I've lost 18# and decreased from size 18W (XL)back to 16W (L). My Dr. is delighted that my sugar level is normal, I've fallen from the "obese" designation back to "overweight" and my cholesterol readings are in the normal range with medication.

I've purchased more Turbo programs and have enjoyed learning routines and pushing my intensity to sustain the "hard" heartrate range for 10 - 20+ min each workout. I want to work-out every day, but teaching responsibilities (what's expected of us is unreasonable) take most of my exercise time during the week. Working out 2 hrs on weekends and no-school days. Now my focus is getting rid of the spare tire -- daunting goal at 58 yrs old.

I began Turbo Jam after a 3 wk road trip to see parents in Florida - other family along the way- camping w/ Cherokee and Ga pines and taking refuge in our own backyard wildlife preserve in Monticello.

The beginning of my story:
Summer focus was physical training to prepare to face 120 juniors for 9 months. Lesson prep and reading student work has filled my days and evenings since school started Aug 5. So I had 3 wks to establish routines that I hoped to continue even though the time of ex sessions had to change to wee morning hours. Through the summer, daily I did Learn and Burn and then Cardio Party until I built enough stamina for Ab Jam (daily) and Punch, Kick and Jam every other day. I completed 21 days of work-outs before school started and continued the daily routine until tasks required by administration robbed me of my morning "me time" as well.
