I finished Power 90 workout and wow! People at work have been asking me, "have you been working out?" When I tell them yes they all ask me the same things. "What gym do you go to?", "What workout More ...
I finished Power 90 workout and wow! People at work have been asking me, "have you been working out?" When I tell them yes they all ask me the same things. "What gym do you go to?", "What workout equipment do you use?" When I tell them I work out at home with a video, only using dumb bells and power bands, they can't believe it. It really does work.
I have tried the gym thing in the past myself with poor results. That is, when I actually went. I did the typical guy thing, doing some bench press, curls, cables and treadmill. My usual workout was about 2 hours a day. I had no clue what I was doing. When you can't see results it is really discouraging and hard to keep going. I love working out with Tony Horton's videos. It's like having a personal trainer in my living room whenever I feel like working out. Tony has a way about him that makes me go a little farther and push a little harder. He knows when the workout is getting tougher because he is doing it with you.That's why I'm so excited! But my results are not from working out alone. I have drastically changed my diet. I will tell you, it hasn't been easy. But it is easier now that I can see results from my new diet and work out routine. There have also been lots of days that I wanted to skip my workout because of being tired or just too busy. But like lots of others I am a member of WOWY, the online gym. I have made a commitment to work out with my workout buddies and I feel like if I skip a workout I'm letting them down as well. So the peer support from WOWY works both ways. We all help each other stay committed. I have completed power 90 and I am currently doing P90X for the second time because the first time I did it was right after doing Power 90 and I honestly didn't have it in me at the time to complete it the first time around. I am also incorporating some running along the way to keep in shape for my Navy Physical Readiness test. P90X has some really awesome workouts, but I will need everyone's help to keep on track. I want to personally thank my coach Aaron Mathis and his wife Jess for getting me started and helping me stay on the program. I could not have done it without you two. That is a fact! I can honestly say, I am in the best shape of my life. And most of all, thank you Tony Horton for coming up with these great workouts designed for any level of fitness. P90X- Let's bring it!..........again.

My wife and I have been really busy. Thanks to our combined coaching efforts we just bought a new home! Unfortunately we both have slowed down dramatically on our workouts so we are going to do the entire P90X program together starting after the Super Bowl. Anyone is welcome to join us.
