Graduating high school as a varsity football player and wrestler, I went into the service of the USA as a MARINE (a lean mean take no BS machine, 160lbs wet!). In 1990 I went to college and became collegiate football player who had a fleeing moment as a body I'll start at the end and work back: I’m a 40ish year old dude, I have troop of great kids ranging from pre-school to the military. Graduating high school as a varsity football player and wrestler, I went into the service of the USA as a MARINE (a lean mean take no BS machine, 160lbs wet!). In 1990 I went to college and became collegiate football player who had a fleeing moment as a body builder wanna-be. Moving forward, I slowly began to work out less and less, as I began to get more and more educated, go figure (as an undergrad it was mandatory as part of the football program, after an injury, it (working out) was only for therapy, later it became maintenance then and finally a once in a while thing), while doing my stint in Medical School 97-99’, I actually stopped working out altogether. Sometimes I played inter-murals, or found my way back to the gym for days or short weeks, but always went back to a sedentary lifestyle, late night Pizza, Beer, and Chips added 15 lbs/year that’s a hefty 30lbs by 2000... When my youngest son was born I weighed in at an all time high of 278lbs! This was December of 99’. I began a new career about this time and it took me on the road where losing ANY weight would be speculative at best, and it wasn't till I sat down one day in the bathroom (of all places) and really had a look at myself, I realized, I had become a totally different person. I was NOT CONFIDANT, I was HESITANT, I was PESSIMISTIC, and I began to feel secretively persecuted against! Every time something happened at work or in my life that seemed to be against what I was expecting, I found blamed on someone or something and comfort at the restaurant! Then on one of my insomnia ridden nights (probably brought about due to that 26 oz. Bone in Rib-Eye Steak, plus sides at 10pm), I came across an infomercial selling Beach Body Products! The host seemed agreeable and likable and I thought “this would fit into my traveling and schedule”, so I bought Power 90, and actually made it through 45 days. I lost 40 lbs in that time, amazing! The failure in the strategy was that I wasn't tuned into the beach body program i.e. support (FaceBook, Groups, FitClubs), supplements (for recovery), and products (for boredom and change of pace). I wasn't participating with others that had similar fitness goals, or ideas of how to better ourselves in the world we live, so the gains disappeared as easily as they had come. Lucky for me I already had control over my food intake now so I never really went back to 278, but I also never dropped below 240 lbs either. Now over time I didn’t gain weight, NOT SCALE weight anyway, but I did gain FAT, I know this because the little muscle I had around arms and legs began to disappear, and folds began to appear, along with the UNI-BACK (That’s where the butt and the back run seamlessly as one body part)! Then I was working in PA and I was in a hotel when in runs these 2 guys one looked really familiar it was TONY HORTON. I asked him if his name was TONY and he replied "Who wants to know" I said "Socrates" and he started to say funny things while still doing his ballistic stretching "Socrates, The philosopher!, How do I know you brother"? And we talked about my gains and losses and he directed me to this site. The rest is history. My Progress My fitness goal: Lose Weight Transformation story

Fast forward: 2008, Late June, in a small town outside Philly, Pa. I was traveling for work when while in the lobby of this hotel (while I was checking out), runs in these two guys, UBER-Fit, and RIPPED, and WHAT??? That face I know that guy? "Hey, is your name Tony?", "Yeah, Who wants to know"??? The rest was a funny transaction of words, in short Scott Fifer who was the 2nd guy, wrote down on a card the Million Dollar Body (MDB) site, and told me to take a look... Sign-up and let-em’ know what I thought! I procrastinated for a few weeks, hey; it's what I do best... But the thought that Tony and Scott are in fact real people and more so actually FIT, and truly walk the talk??? That stayed with me... So I went to the site, and as most web based places do, it wanted me to sign up and I was like AHHHH! I don't want to sign up, so another week went by. BUT, the picture of the guys is still was there, lingering, and prodding me. I got back to the site, signed up, and signed on... Here I am a Graduate of P90X (I am part of a forum thread called FINE In 09’), yeah I already had the DVD's, Had to dust them off though, but once I found them I began, It was tough!!! No joke here boys and girls!!! I instantly went on the forums and asked if I was doing something wrong? It seemed that I was, I had lost the books that came with the program so they pointed in the right direction, the Phase approach and life was good again. It still wasn't easy but now I had knowledge of where to start and better yet I began to use the tool of friendships and knowledge of the boards of people that HAVE done it... As a last note: You know what makes you a believer with these programs, that you feel better instantly, things like drying yourself with a towel become easier, bending/squatting down to talk to your kids becomes easier, starting a lawn mower becomes easier, MAKING LOVE!!! WOOOOHOOO!!!!! BECOMES EASIER!!!! 45 Days, I'm fitting into my clothes, friends and family are starting to notice a difference "Did you shave your beard?", "What did you change on your face?"... LOL... 45 days only... Wait till I hit 60! And then 90!!!! 68 Days HAHAHA... I am a size 34! Just bought a pair of modern jeans! Guess Brand!!! I feel like a SUPERSTAR! I can't say anything else, I haven't been this since 1996! 90days! WOOOHOOO I am a graduate, but wait now what? I am addicted to this different person. I asked a friend the other day the question “What do you think, now that you are different”? He said: “Different” is good. I like “Different”. I think I’m going to get me some more of “Different”!!! I decided to join the Team Beach Body officially as a coach on my 30th day! Why because it works! No little pill, no kidding around, no joke… simply results.
