Jackson, WY I'm a 36 y.o. world traveler, by accident. I was born in California and moved to Jackson- Wyoming when I was 13 with my family. I attended undergraduate college at UNLV in Las Vegas, however, I graduated from the University of Wyoming in Laramie....GO POKES!! Anyways, I really didn't know what the hell I was going to do with my life until about 6 months after I graduated from college. I'm a 36 y.o. world traveler, by accident. That is when I decided I really could make it through medical school. So, I ended up traveling to Central America for the 1st two years of medical school. Yea, it was nice at times, but do you know how many mosquitoes are down there? Anyways, I then spent time in Maine, Chicago, Baltimore, Kansas City and then back to Wyoming to finish off my 3rd and 4th years in medical school. From when I was about 17 years old I thought it would be amazing to be a surgeon that fixed people like a mechanic fixes cars. So, here I am...just graduated my General Surgery residency and yes, I look just like Dr. McDreamy. Hehe, alright, maybe it's only in MY head! Anyways....my friends call me Dr. Buck.....so that's my TBB screen name:)
As far as my Team Beachbody experience, it's been nothing short of AMAZING. I have to confess a little secret....and that's that 30 days before I was invited to Beverly Hills in December of 2007 to look at the Team Beachbody opportunity, I watched the movie "The Secret". My mother threatened me to watch it and I finally did. I really like the movie, and put a couple things into action....but I didn't realize what an impact it would have. I joined Team Beachbody (then Million Dollar Body)as a Coach and built a website as a personal way to sell the Beachbody products that I loved. (I just didn't have the time to do both Team Beachbody marketing AND a Surgical Residency at the same time!) Fast-forwarding to June 2010 I graduated from my General Surgery residency and I have moved back to Jackson, Wyoming (which was my goal), bought a house (plus or minus in this market!) a SA-WEET Mustang GT (of course I modified it:), I have no credit card debt and even have employees that help me with my website and Team Beachbody Business. With the HUGE changes in Healthcare, and the general direction it was headed to begin with, I would have NEVER been able to do these things after graduation. I would have been forced to be an employee of a hospital and do the ole' 9-5 grind (well, for surgeons is more like 5a-9p grind...but you get my point). Instead, because of Team Beachbody, I'M MY OWN BOSS. I control my life, not some administrator or worse, the government. Thank you Beachbody for the opportunity to steer my life in the direction I wanted.
P.S. I got so inspired and fired up about P90X, that I took all of my experiences with the programs (I did Power 90, Power 1/2 Hour, 10 Min Trainer and Fast 10), combined them with my medical knowledge, and wrote a short (50 Page) e-book on how to CRUSH the Beachbody programs. It's free for everyone. You can find it on SUPER-FIT.COM in the bottom left corner of the homepage.

My Beachybody Experience has been simply amazing. I "accidentally" ordered Power 90 in 2003 because I thought it was a kick-boxing video. After receiving Power 90 I started reading through the diet guide and materials. At that time I was in my 3rd year of medical school, and nothing in my education was so clear and concise about nutrition and exercise as was the education I received from Power 90. The guides made so much sense to me. I had tried to get in super-shape a thousand times but I had never seen anyone explain fitness/weight loss like that. Hey, I'm a man of science, and I think that if it doesn't make sense, it doesn't make sense doing it. But, everything with Power 90 just clicked and I thought...."I'm going to do this, and it's going to work." And...I did. I got fantastic results on my first round of Power 90. I then got P90X when it was released and loved it. However, I soon started my surgery residency and all nutrition and exercise went straight out the window! I struggled between taking care of me and making sure I was prepared to take care of patients. This year I am on a research so the hours are much more manageable. I fired up the Power 90 again to get myself ready for P90X, I knew that was where I was going to get unbelievable results. I'm now about 45 days back into P90X and I'm loving it. It's truly amazing how fast our bodies recover from all the years of punishment! The information in these programs are so fantastic. It's a great feeling to know that I now have the knowledge to "fix my body anytime, anywhere. This is what a mechanic must feel like...you know, no car worries, cause he can fix whatever goes wrong. (You would think I would have got that in medical school, eh??) My life has literally changed from the education that Beachbody has given me. Starting out with P90, Power Half Hour, Power 90 Master Series and then P90X. These programs have given me the knowledge to turn my health around anywhere, at any time, forever.
