In the past 8 years I had really gone downhill in taking care of myself and
making wise choices. I believe it started when I got divorced and had a huge
emotional setback during the custody battle with my children. I was beaten
down by the attorneys and the unfair "justice" system. This took me into an
emotional tailspin and from there I lost myself. My body started to react to
the stress

One day I had no more clothes to wear – I was already too fat for my size 2x’s
and the thought of looking for 3x or larger just made me sick. I took the first

One day I had no more clothes to wear – I was already too fat for my size 2x’s
and the thought of looking for 3x or larger just made me sick. I took the first
step and joined my local gym in October 2007. I was afraid of the scale and
therefore didn’t want to step on the scales at first. My first official weigh in
was in Nov 6 2007 (after working out for 1 month) at 232. I have come a
long ways from those first workouts, barely walking for 10 min on the
treadmill at 2.8 miles per hour. Also I started to work on my diet on Nov 6,
2007 - and have been very successful now with both diet and exercise -
loving it! Feeling awesome and looking forward to working out each day and
feeding my body the nutrients it craved! I now work out 6 days a week,
adding in both cardio and strength training, and take in the recommended
calories for weight loss, as well as making sure to watch for other nutrients
that my body needs. I have also decided to add in more workout time at
home and the office - I am so excited to have started adding more workouts
from beachbody - I started hearing out there such great results from the
power 90 and 10 min workouts and couldn't wait to get started on them. With
these new workouts I am on my way to my goal weight with renewed
excitement. I LOVE my new body - my new lifestyle and beachbody products.
I am now 154 and going for 130's!
