I have a great husband, Jeff, and two wonderful children Alexis 13 and Christopher 5. I have been employed by the school system for 13 years working with special needs children. All my life I have battled with my weight. When I got pregnant with my first child at 23, my blood pressure reared its ugly head. At 22 weeks of pregnancy, I was hospitalized for six weeks until the baby was delivered by Cesarean section. She was only 2 lbs 6 oz. I remained in denial steadily packing on the pounds. I was always trying different diets and diet pills but was still unable to beat my addiction to food. At 32, I became pregnant with my second child. I was horrified when the doctors told me I was a high risk pregnancy but with close monitoring I might deliver a healthy baby. Things were great until July 18, 2002 when I had a near fatal experience for my unborn son and me. My placenta erupted; my blood pressure rose so high I had seizures, and my kidneys stopped working. I was in ICU for 4 days. God spared my life for a purpose; he knew the trials I was about to face with my family and new son. As a result of complications at birth, Chris remained in ICU for one month. Upon his release, we were told not to expect too much. After numerous amounts of tests we discovered he had Cerebral Palsy and a seizure disorder. Overwhelmed, I had to stop working to meet Chris' physical and medical needs. I was determined to prove the doctors wrong and give him the best start in life possible. Six months later my mom suddenly died from a stroke. I had really depended on her for moral support. I now became the guardian for my 45 year old special needs sister, and my 69 year old dad was alone and needed me, too. I was already teetering on the edge, and that just pushed me over. I began to rely on food more and more for comfort. I was at the lowest point in my life I had ever been. I was over 300 lbs and once again my blood pressure was out of control. It all comes back to I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT! The one think I felt I could not do. After many doctor visits, my son was showing great improvement. He was achieving goals and was able to start school. I started to feel a little better about myself and decided to go back to work on August 2006. I still overate all the time steadily packing on the pounds. In February 2007 I began to realize that my love for my family can not exceed the love for myself. I had to do something to get my eating under control. There was a weight loss contest going on at work so I decided to give it a try. Just as I got started, I'm hit with yet another obstacle. My mother-in-law had a stroke and came to live with us. How much more could be thrown my way? In March 2007 I realized I had to just do it. It was time for me to take care of Audrey. If I continued to let myself go, who would be here to take care of my family? That's when I found Cyndilou and Beach Body, and my whole life began to change for the better. Pushing Play Forever!

My transformation story begins in March 2007. After years of overeating and weight loss failures, a friend of mine introduced me to Cyndi J. (Cyndilou to Beach Body), who told me about Hip Hop Abs and the contest MDB was having both monthly and daily with WOWY. Cyndi helped me to get active and kept me motivated even when I wanted to quit. It's not easy Hip Hopping at 300+ pounds. As hard as it was, I kept pushing play and by the end of April I was down 25 lbs. Seeing an increase in my mobility pushed me to try another workout, Slim In Six. It was still very difficult for me physically to do the workouts, but I was determined to make a change. Cyndi helped me modify the moves to meet my physical capabilities. Slow and steady, the pounds came off. I could tell my health was starting to change for the better. My energy level was increasing, and my stress level was decreasing. For the first time I was actually starting to smile at Audrey and I looked forward to my daily workouts. By July I was seeing a lot of change in my body and decided to try Turbo Jam again. I had tried it with Cyndi back in March and was unable to do it. It was just too fast and frustrating of a workout. We did Cardio Party 2 and WOW! I flew through the workout with no problem. I couldn't believe how much progress I had made in just 4 1/2 months. Is this me really jumping around? I'm on a roll now! I can do this! For the next two months I did a mixture of HHA, SI6 and TJ. I even did P90X Kenpo with Cyndilou on Saturdays. I added the P90X vitamins, and I used Michi's ladder to keep me on track with my food. I don't always have the opportunity to log into WOWY everyday, but I never miss my workout. As of now I have lost 75 lbs and 29 inches. I'm a totally different person both physically and mentally. I'm doing things now that I never imagined I could do, like cris-cross jumping jacks. For a BIG person that is a major accomplishment. I saw the excitement when Cyndilou won Million Dollar Body in March, and I admired her dedication to fitness and good health, but I never believed it could be possible for me. With all that I have going on in my life, it would be so easy to quit, but Million dollar Body has made it so easy for me to succeed. I've only just begun my journey to fitness and good health. I want to thank everyone at Beach Body for making these products available. Thank you Shaun T, Debbie, Chalene, and Tony for super effective workouts that have helped me to make some major changes. I also want to thank Cyndi for being my coach and sticking by me everyday. I decided to make a change, I committed to 1 hour a day, and I'm succeeding in ways I never imagined possible. Audrey D.
