I started P90X Saturday, July 19, 2008. During that first day I stopped the workout and went up to my easy chair to decide if this workout was right for me. I was wasted after the fourth excercise. After about 15 minutes of internalizing that I would not get anywhere sitting on my rear end I got up, went back to my workout, pushed play and brought it to end that first days workout of chest and back. It was tough, no doubt, but I am committed to succeed.

My goals over the remainder of the program is to loose 30 lbs of weight, reduce body fat to low 20's or below, and increase my strength.

This is my first day of week two of P90X. Over the last week I have felt an increase in energy, slimming of the face and midsection, increase of strength for chest and back. First session of chest and back I was on knees for all pushups and using a chair for all pullups. Week two, I was able to perform all but one set of pushups from the knees. Still having trouble getting full range of motion, but I am off the knees. To me,that is successful. Pull-ups are still tough, have to use a chair for these.

My diet is not quit right on with that of the P90x plan. I am able to get the proper ratios - 20% fat, (usually less) 30% carbs (usually less), and most generally over 50% protein. I am supposed to be at level 3 for nutrician, but eatting at level 1. I do not have any hunger problems at this time. Usually eat 5 or 6 meals a day. My diet, I believe, is really good.
