After much persuasion from my dad, we started working out, easing into it so as not to overwhelm me with this "new world." Immediately I fell in love with lifting and I cannot believe I wasted so much doing a lot of nothing.

For Father's Day, I bought my dad P90X. He had been talking about it for quite some time and I knew it would be a great program for us to do during my summer break from school. Although the program was at times difficult, it was completely addicting. After two weeks I could start seeing results and after the 90 days I gained 10 pounds of muscle to my very thin physique.

Although I did P90X for my own health, I have to admit that the number of compliments I got from friends and family (oh and complete strangers) was AWESOME! It boosted my self-confidence greatly and thereby truly changed me physically and mentally.
