When I started getting back into shape my plan was simple: cut out sugar and bread from my diet and focus on high protein, low fat with lots of lean meats and fresh vegatables. Additionally I started working out in my local gym for 30-60 minutes 3-5 days/week. Focus has been on a balance of moderate cardio and resistance training. I've upped my gym time and intensity to 60-70 minutes 5-6 days/week with more intense cardio. Initially I was losing 3 lbs/week on average but have reached a plateau. I'm keen to keep my progress moving and am of the type to go all in if I commit to a goal. I'd like to get to 180 lbs and have a body to make Tony Horton blush. My results have been good and seeing the look on my wife's face has been great motivation. Looking for focus and intensity to keep on track.
