I'm an early 40s dad of 2, a 7 year old girl and a 4 year old boy. I'm former Air Force. I was a very active racquetball player, I've always been a casual runner, I hold a brown belt in Aikido, I used to enjoy cycling 50 miles-ish on the road and loved to take all day back woods mountain bike trips on the fire roads and snow mobile trails of Vermont. Since my children came along and I now have a dissertation to write, I have totally let myself go physically. Before our daughter was born my wife and I did Jazzercise which was fun and I saw some results but with a new baby and now a family I just don't have the flexibility of schedule I used to.
Beachbody programs allow me to schedule my workout time when it fits my schedule rather than a gym or centers schedule. I'm not wasting time going to the place to workout. I'm already there! Plus, my kids get to see dad working out on a regular basis which instills in them that exercise is *important*! What more could you ask for?
