When I first started Beachbody I did P90 and had some great results. In fact others in my family also did the program...believe me...it works! The problem was over time I had several personal things happening in my life which didn't involve working out anymore and so the weight started coming back on. Finally at the end of summer this year my husband and I looked at each other and decided enough was enough. We were tired of being fat and lazy. We started back on working out and right now we are doing Hip Hop Abs. What a fun program. No we can't dance LOL but who cares! We are having fun and losing weight! We are a work in progress and making this a lifelong commitment! So if you'd like to join us...come along!

I’m sure my story isn’t new, as even I have heard it before. I am another one of those ‘skinny all my life’ types of people, until 10 years ago when I stopped smoking. Over the next couple of years I put on almost 50 extra pounds. So when I saw the infomercial for P90, I figured, here was something that I could do. So I get P90, do my 90 days, and loose some weight. It wasn’t as much as I had hoped for but I was pleased and continued on. During my second round I was joined by my husband. We both did really well. Then came the setbacks, I had to have surgery, twice and my husband had hurt his back. So we got back to the lazy life we had before. Not watching what we ate and not exercising. We became our own worst enemies and the weight crept back on. So here we were, starting over from the beginning. I should say that even though I wasn’t working out, I still dropped into the message boards now and then just to see what was going on. I stopped posting, mostly because there were so many new people on the boards that I didn’t know. I had lost contact with the people I used to post with. Well, anyway, one day I was reading and found out about the Hip Hop Abs DVDs. I knew I wanted to do something different and this sounded like it would be more fun then a regular workout. I talked to my husband and he said he was willing to do it with me. Yeeeaaah! Well the rest is history, we did the HHA for 90 days with a weight loss of 20 pounds for my husband and 13 for me!. Now we mix it up with P90 Master Series, Turbo Jam, and HHA and have lost more weight. I know this is working in more ways then one. I have the proof. Before I started working out, I had to have a cholesterol check. Well, my cholesterol was on the high side and I think my doctor was thinking of putting me on medication. He told me we would check it again in 6 months. I had my checkup Wed. (1-16-08) and the doctor called me with the results yesterday (1-17-08). My cholesterol had dropped by 43 points! That’s right, 43!! Everything was in the normal range. WoooHoooo! How cool is that!! So there you have it. With proper diet and exercise anything is possible. Now I’m working to lower my Blood Pressure. I’ll let you know how that goes….
