I am a retired college athlete. I have grown up always playing sports and I had become used to the lifestyle of attending daily practices. I rejected the idea of working out on my own and was determined to only work out when it was related to a sport, or when a coach told me to. I graduated college and then entered the real world. I quickly realized that things were no longer the same. I tried to go to the gym on my own, but that didn't last. I tried to play intramural sports, but that wasn't the same. I tried running on my own, but that only lasted for a short period of time. My challenge was to find a way to continue to work out on a daily basis. Luckily, one of my good friends is a personal trainer, and she offered to train me for a VERY low, affordable price. We met 3 times a week, I watched what I was eating, and after 6 months, I lost 15 pounds. I was excited to continue with this lifestyle. She then moved about 40 minutes away, and was no longer so easily accessible. I continued in my journey, gained the weight back, and was yearning for a regimen. I heard about a local fit club hosting P90x and Insanity workouts for FREE! I was so excited to attend and see what it was all about. I attended some events and really fell in love with the idea- but it was only once a week! My coach then approached me with the idea of a challenge group. I decided to take the Insanity Challenge! I have made Beachbody a part of my daily life. I get up everyday ready to press Play and complete my workout. It has become a HABIT. I can't wait to take the next 90 Day Beachbody journey as I continue to press Play to the TurboFire workout program!
