My goal is to love the skin I'm in. I am an Administrative Assistant for a custom home builder, the wife of a Senior Pastor and I am a 44 years of age. I have been married to a wonderful man for 24 years now and have two adult children and two grandchildren, ages 2 years and the other one 3 1/2 months. Making this lifestyle change is important to me because I feel I still need to be a good My goal is to love the skin I'm in. I have been married to a wonderful man for 24 years now and have two adult children and two grandchildren, ages 2 years and the other one 3 1/2 months. Making this lifestyle change is important to me because I feel I still need to be a good example to my family as it relates to keeping up with my health, diet and exercise and not letting myself go, which is so easy to do. So my fitness goal is to get back into great health. I am watching the foods I eat and have been doing exercise 4-6 times a week. But I just started to be consistent with it and it's been a month now. I look forward to working out with all of you, and hope that I can be an encouragement to you as well.

The biggest thing that I have discovered is that as you get older it certainly isn't easy to take off the weight. For me, getting the results thus far was cutting out my soda intake (Dr. Pepper), it's like coffee to others, and I enjoy it, and my body can attest to the sugar, so though I haven't quit completely I have reduced the caffeine & sugar intake considerably. Sweets were the next thing to be reduced, I simply love chocolate. But it has caught up with me, so in order to reach my goals, chocolate also is being depleted. Also, when I get ready to eat, I think about the effects it will have on all the hard work that I have been doing to get rid of the fat, so lean meats, mostly chicken, salads, vegies and fruit and lots of water. As far as my future plans, I am doing Turbo Jam right now. Total to date, I have lost 8 lbs, it's not a lot, but a great start and my goal is another 22 lbs.
