Macungie, PA Hi! I am not only an Independent Team Beachbody Coach, I'm a customer! I am a new coach, but have been working with Beachbody workouts since around January 2008. With the help of Beachbody I am making fitness and nutrition an important part of my life and my goal to better healthy. I started with Slim and 6 and have expanded my workout programs to include Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs, Brazil Hi! I am not only an Independent Team Beachbody Coach, I'm a customer! I am a new coach, but have been working with Beachbody workouts since around January 2008. With the help of Beachbody I am making fitness and nutrition an important part of my life and my goal to better healthy. I started with Slim and 6 and have expanded my workout programs to include Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs, Brazil Butt Lift and other more extreme workouts like Chaleen Extreme. I like to have various choices of workouts to fit the mood I happen to be in. I don’t want to have any excuse not to work out because I don’t feel like using weights or doing yoga on a particular day. I must admit, I worked out saw some results and stopped working out for a while only to go back to where I was before, unfit and unhappy with myself.
I re-committed to get back in shape with the help of my doctor, my coach and Beachbody, and decided to become a coach in March of 2010. I have a great a coach that gives me so much inspiration and motivation to help me get fit and make this commitment work. Beachbody has so many people that I can turn to for support, I can find someone to workout in with in WOWY pretty much any time of the day and they all have the same goal I do, get healthy. Just seeing and listening to my coach and how Beachbody has changed her life is such an inspiration for me, and is proof that changing your diet and exercising can be fun and make a difference.
I would like to help others with the same dreams as I have on my journey to better health. People should feel happy about themselves and this is one of my goals, to help others and myself. I know it is not an easy fix and requires a change in the way you think about you life. I will share tips that helped me achieve my goals, so you can reach yours. We can support each other on our voyage as we watch each other transform.

January 2008 I ended up in the hospital have angioplasty done. I could not have stents put in because my arteries are to small and my husband was told by the surgeon that if this happened again he would now knew he wouldn't be able to use this procedure again. While in rehab I started using Turbo Jam and Hip Hop Abs because I was told I should try to do more cardio workouts and less weights at that time. My cardiologist was very happy with the way I was progressing going. My HDL & LDL levels were getting better with each visit and I was very slowly loosing weight. I then decided to start Slim In 6 to have a more balanced workout, cardo & weight and continued to see progress, even though it was very slow. In 2009 I started gaining weight again even though I worked out 5 to 6 days a week. I was getting very discouraged and not working out as much because I felt it wasn't doing any good. I forgot why I started working in the first place, my heart. Just because I couldn't see the weight going away didn't mean it wasn't keeping me healthy. I had more and more systems of menopause so my regular Dr. took blood work. Even though I was only having a cycle ever few months my blood work did not backup menopause so they didn't think that was the reason for gaining weight. Both my heart & regular Dr said to speak with my OBGYN and see what she had to recommend. I did this and was told that I was getting and old and should learn to live with it. Well if that was the case I'd be over 200 lbs and dead in no time. I decided I could accept her attitude and on 4/17/10 I took my pictures and measurements and started Chalene Extreme. I didn't loose a huge amount of weight like some people do, but I knew I had issues with weight that still have not determined why. However, I did loose weight, and that was a big issue for me. It was only 10 lbs, after 90 days but the thing is I stopped gaining and started loosing again. On 8/2 I took my measurements and pictures again because I was about to start a new journey using Brazil Butt Lift. I will continue to prove my OBGYN wrong and I won't have to learn to live with gaining weight and having to worry all the time about my heart going bad again. I know the journey will be long and hard, but I'm headed in the right direction.
