I am a very busy girl, balancing full time work, full time school, a social life
and working out 6 days a week. I was always skinny in high school, but in my
mid-twenties I began to gain. I had no idea my weight had gotten so out of
control, until I saw some pictures taken of me at a family BBQ. My mother has
struggled with obesity my entire life, and at the age of 57 she had a heart
attack,

I started using P90X, and after 30 days, my weight went up 1 pound, but my
body fat percentage has dropped over 3%. Muscle does weigh more than fat,
so it's just a matter of time before More ...
I started using P90X, and after 30 days, my weight went up 1 pound, but my
body fat percentage has dropped over 3%. Muscle does weigh more than fat,
so it's just a matter of time before the weight drops off as well. I went from
initially only being able to do 15 pushups and 30 crunches to 30 pushups and
over 70 crunches !!..I also won $300.00 in the million dollar body contest, so
if I ever needed motivation to work out, now I have it.

After a few weeks of P90X I injured my ankle pretty bad, and decided I was far
too out of shape to jump right into that workout, so I started Slim in 6 to try
and get my cardio up before I go back to the P90X. I have lost about 10
pounds doing that, and I am now ready to start mixing in P90X again. I have
decided to mix Slim and 6 and the cardio aspects of P90X together to build
up enough endurance before mixing in the heavy weight training. My initial
goal was to lose 15 pounds, but now that I am down 10 I am creating a new
goal, to lost another 10 more pounds. I miss workouts somedays, but I figure
this is a lifestyle change, not a program. I do not expect perfection, and I will
screw up sometimes. The important thing is to make sure that if I miss a day,
the next day I get right back on the horse and work out again. After awhile it
will have to pay off.
