Hi, I am Mike Palmer. I live in NW Fort Worth, TX. I'm a 54 yo father of three, married for 30 years to the same wonderful woman. I have been a commercial pilot for more than 20 years. I started P90X because I had approximately 90 days rehab time before returning to work after atrial ablation and I needed to start taking better care of myself.

Most of my life I have been physically active. The last five years I have really fallen off the exercise wagon. I started having aches & pains everywhere. Then on a semi-annual flight physical an irregular heartbeat was detected (atrial fibrillation). I am in the process of having that corrected with atrial ablation. The recovery period for this process is 90 days for the FAA. I thought to myself, this is the prefect time to start an exercise program. I will have no excuse not to do the workout. No time problems, no work problems, no excuses! I learned about P90X shortly after the ablation procedure on April 8, 2009 and said that's the program. I purchased it, read the material and thought to myself, MAYBE this is NOT the program I need, it appears pretty tough. But hey, I already spent the money for it so I started on April 20, 2009.
May 20, 2009: I just finished Day 31, Back & Bi’s. The pictures from Day 1 until now are revealing. The most dramatic change I see, my stomach. Lost; 2.5 inches and 9 pounds. Gained; strength, stamina, and confidence.
I certainly feel the difference. I love how I feel when I finish the workouts. I can not complete all the maneuvers on most of the days but I “do my best, and forget the rest”. Keep pushing play!
P.S. I LOVE the Chocolate Skakeology meal replacement drink and I don’t normally like chocolate! So far I have used it to replace my breakfast. It’s GREEEEEEEEEEEAT!
