Here is a little information about me: I'm a busy entrepreneur / mom with three energetic kids (14, 12, and 20 months). I work full-time (both in the office and at home!), just finished up my degree in Business Management and love coaching!
Growing up, I was a female jock. I played softball, gymnastics and volleyball. I loved being active and was in decent shape, I thought. My coaches didn't. My gymnastics coach told me I needed to lose weight, if I wanted to make the varsity team. I quit sports that year and my weight spiraled up and down ever since. Since then, I start a new program and slowly fade out of almost every "activity" I start; I think I've finally traced it back to that conversation with my coach. Not this time...
I love programs provided by Beachbody, they are fun and they work! I am going to stick with my journey and exceed my goal….for my kids, my husband and especially myself - I deserve this! And so do you!
My husband and I were married in October 2008 and I had a miscarriage at the beginning of February 2009, and most recently in April 2009. We wanted to try again and by working out, eating right and staying focused we welcomed our healthy baby girl to our world in April 2010. I have used Shakeology to maintain my nutritional needs and was able to stay within the recommended guidelines for pregnancy weight gain during that time.
I only gained about 25 lbs during my pregnancy, but was already 20 lbs overweight from the miscarriages the year before. At delivery I weighted 198 lbs - I'm 5' 3" so that was A LOT!
Through the use of Shakeology and working out I was able to drop 30 lbs after delivery pretty quickly, but then got busy with the baby and school...
Nov 11, 2011 I started reading an early release of Chalene Johnson's book PUSH, I also started getting serious about working out again, since my classes for school were over. Time to focus on me! Since then, I'm now down to 155 lbs. I have more weight I want to lose, but my body is responding well to my workouts and my nutrition plan! I'm at a point where I'm building lean muscle while still continuing to lose the weight and I feel great!

My journey began in 2008 when I started off with Slim in 6, then Turbo Jam. I had lost 20 lbs and had tons of energy. So I started coaching. I'm here, as a coach - for me, for my kids, for my friends and anyone else out there like me who wants more out of themselves.
After a required "time-out" during my pregnancy, I'm ready to get started on my journey back to a healthy and fit me. I'm starting with a round of Slim in 6, then Turbo Jam.
I'm striving to continue on this path of a healthier lifestyle, meeting new friends along the way and am eager to begin my post-delivery journey to lose the baby weight I gained over the last year of my pregnancy.
It took me 10 months to get here (well, more if you count the two miscarriages!) and it will take me as long or longer - potentially to get me to where I want to be.
