About me...I have been into fitness for 15 years and always try to live a healthy lifestyle. I have spent years teaching kickboxing and spin classes, ran the Marine Corps Marathon in 2003 and continued to love running ever since. I felt like I needed a new challenge, wanted to see more definition and also felt like my body was hitting a plateau. I did INSANITY and boy was it a challenge to say the least and it did lean me out! I then bought my husband P90X for a New Year's Resolution gift and I was addicted from Day 1. Saw decent results and got much stronger but have to admit my diet included way too many cheat meals. I was one to reward my hard work with food....I know now it is not worth it and there are better rewards, like NEW CLOTHES! Took a month or two off doing my own workouts, went to a nutrition coach to learn even more and got my diet dialed in. I pretty much follow the Phase 2 of P90x which is the balanced plan. I am eating 6 smaller meals a day to keep my metabolism cooking and also incoprorated Shakeology as one of my meals (love how it tastes and how it makes me feel). Now on my second round of P90X, wk 3 (as of Aug 9, 2010) and so excited because I know with my diet, Shakeology and a better attitude around those "rewards" I talked about, the results will be even better then round 1. I pop out of bed at 5AM every day ready to "Press Play" and "Bring It". I really look forward to the workouts, seriously, I really feel excited at 5AM! I have never felt stonger and well rounded in regards to a fitness program. I decided to be a coach so I can share my enthusiasm and experiences and inspire others to take control and make positive changes in their lives. We only have one shot at life, why not live it feeling amazing everyday!!

I have been living a healthy lifestyle, working out daily, mostly running. I wanted a new challenge and muscle definition. My first round of P90X was awesome but must admit my diet wasn't all there. I had too many "cheats". I realized the satisfaction I felt from food rewards was not worth how I felt afterward or how it delayed my progress. Since starting round 2 of P90X (in wk 2), and focusing on my diet, I feel AMAZING, EVERGIZED, STRONG and seeing and feeling all the rewards of this program. The coolest thing is I don't obsess over the scale anymore, don't need to because I can SEE in the mirror what's happening to my body!
